Required by Dec 1. Submit the specified snare roll/etudes, two-mallet Bach, four-mallet work and timpani material, plus Thornton's introduction video.
终试 Final audition: 现场试奏通常在 1 月下旬至 2 月上旬于南加州大学 (USC) 举行。确切的 2027 年秋季打击乐试奏名额将在预筛结果出来后进行分配。
Live auditions normally occur in late January and early February at USC. Exact Fall 2027 percussion appointments are assigned after prescreen results.
远程政策 Remote option: 有条件可以。居住在距离南加州大学超过 100 英里、且因经济困难无法出行的申请人，可申请提交录制版终试；学校将个案审批，并非自动获准。
CONDITIONAL YES. Applicants living more than 100 miles from USC who cannot travel because of financial hardship may request a recorded final audition; approval is not automatic.
IELTS: USC 当前本科入学规划基准为雅思学术类 7.0 分；请遵循 2027 年秋季的国际招生豁免及分数规定。

军鼓：25-30 秒的长滚奏、Pratt Drum Corps on Parade 指定乐段以及 Delecl Delecluse Douze Etudes No. 1 指定乐段
Snare Drum: 25-30 second long roll, Pratt Drum Corps on Parade through the specified measure, and Delecluse Douze Etudes No. 1 through the specified measure.
琴槌：指定两槌 J.S. Bach 选段外加一支风格对比鲜明的四槌马林巴或铁琴作品
Mallets: the specified two-mallet J.S. Bach selection plus a contrasting four-mallet marimba or vibraphone work.
定音鼓：所需滚奏/练习材料必须严格按照当前 Thornton 本科打击乐页面所列；每首作品在演奏过程中不得进行剪辑
Timpani: required roll/etude material exactly as listed on the current Thornton undergraduate percussion page; each work must be unedited within the take.

终试 / Final Audition

军鼓：一首基础练习，一首音乐会练习，基础技巧、装饰音、各种强弱音的滚奏以及视奏。
Snare Drum: one rudimental etude, one concert etude, rudiments, ornaments, rolls at all dynamics and sight-reading.
马林巴或颤音钟琴：一首独奏级别的二槌独奏和一首独奏级别的四槌独奏；音阶、琶音以及视奏。
Mallets: one recital-level two-mallet solo and one recital-level four-mallet marimba or vibraphone solo; scales, arpeggios and sight-reading.
定音鼓：一首高德曼、菲尔特、德克莱斯、霍赫莱纳或同等难度的练习；准确的调音以及视奏。
Timpani: one Goodman, Firth, Delecluse, Hochrainer or equivalent etude; accurate tuning and sight-reading.
