Fall 2027 申请流程 / Application

Fall 2027 application deadline is expected Dec 1, 2026; confirm when SMTD replaces the Fall 2026 degree page.
预筛 Prescreen: 在申请截止日期前提交所需的艺术概况打击乐视频和讲话材料；邀请规则规定在当前打击乐部分中。
Submit the required Artistic Profile percussion videos and speaking materials by the application deadline; invitation rules are specified on the current percussion section.
终试 Final audition: 2027 年秋季现场/虚拟试奏日期待定。录取需经艺术材料评审后由邀请决定。
Fall 2027 in-person/virtual dates are TBA. Auditions are by invitation only after artistic-material review.
远程政策 Remote option: 是/有条件。SMTD 同时提供现场和虚拟两种形式；具体可用形式取决于节目安排及邀请函中的指导说明。
YES/CONDITIONAL. SMTD publishes both in-person and virtual formats; the available format depends on the program and invitation instructions.
IELTS: 密歇根大学接受雅思学术类成绩；当前规划目标是总分 7.0 且单项分数较高，具体以中央豁免规则为准。
University of Michigan accepts IELTS Academic; current planning target is 7.0 overall with strong section scores, subject to central waiver rules.

预筛 / Prescreen

一段独奏或基础军鼓独奏/练习曲。
One concert or rudimental snare drum solo/etude.
一段二槌或四槌键盘打击乐独奏/练习曲；在可能的情况下优先使用四槌。
One two- or four-mallet keyboard percussion solo/etude; four mallets are preferred where possible.
遵循当前键盘打击乐页面的定音鼓、管弦乐选段以及必需的为何选择密歇根讲话视频。
Follow the current percussion page for timpani, orchestral excerpts and the required Why Michigan speaking video.

终试 / Final Audition

请根据艺术档案准备所有受邀试奏所要求的各类打击乐器组。
Prepare all requested percussion families from the Artistic Profile for the invited audition.
现场或线上候选者可能会被要求即兴视奏、技术展示以及参加面试或小组会议。
Live/virtual candidates may be asked for sight-reading, technical demonstrations and an interview/group meeting.
在允许的情况下，欢迎额外展示多件打击乐、鼓组、电子打击乐或个人创作作品。
Additional multiple percussion, drum set, electronic or personal-creative work is welcomed when allowed.
