Final audition

当前本科生指令列表 常规决定 2 月 16 日至 21 日现场试奏周。中央试奏页面每年夏天都会更新；安排后重新确认特定年份的打击乐分配。

Current undergraduate instructions list Regular Decision live audition week Feb 16-21. The central audition page is updated each summer; reconfirm the year-specific percussion assignment after scheduling.

IELTS

Peabody international requirements should be checked on the current English page; use IELTS Academic as the planning route. Submit by Feb 1 for Regular Decision unless the 2027 page changes.

   No undergraduate percussion prescreening requirement.

终试 / Final Audition

1. 军鼓：Cirone、Portraits in Rhythm 或 Delecluse、Douze Etudes 中的一首练习曲； Pratt、Wilcoxon 或类似作品的一首练习曲。
   Snare Drum: one etude from Cirone, Portraits in Rhythm, or Delecluse, Douze Etudes; one etude by Pratt, Wilcoxon or similar.
2. 定音鼓：考生自选一首练习曲，选自Richard Hochrainer，Etuden fuer 定音鼓；展示流畅的调音并识别/演唱钢琴上演奏的音程。
   Timpani: one etude of the candidate's choice from Richard Hochrainer, Etuden fuer Timpani; demonstrate fluent tuning and recognize/sing intervals played on piano.
3. 键盘：J.S. 任何乐章的两槌马林巴转录巴赫;四槌独奏大约 5-12 分钟。
   Keyboard: a two-mallet marimba transcription of any movement by J.S. Bach; one four-mallet solo approximately 5-12 minutes.
4. 推荐四槌作曲家/作品包括Abe、Miyake、Sammut、Stout和Tanaka；需要两槌视奏。
   Suggested four-mallet composers/works include Abe, Miyake, Sammut, Stout and Tanaka; two-mallet sight-reading is required.
5. 建议使用标准定音鼓、军鼓和木琴管弦乐片段，但本科生试音不需要。
   Standard timpani, snare and xylophone orchestral excerpts are suggested but not required for undergraduate audition.

Official 2026-27 undergraduate COA varies by housing. Use the on-campus table on the tuition page; tuition alone is the largest fixed item, with housing, food, insurance, fees and travel added.

奖学金 / Grants

所有申请者都将通过入学/试奏过程被考虑获得皮博迪优秀奖学金。寻求机构需求援助的本科生在 1 月 15 日之前提交 CSS 简介以进行常规决策；符合美国资格的学生还需提交 FAFSA。国际学生应完成 CSS 和 Peabody 要求，然后比较书面包。

All applicants are considered for Peabody merit scholarships through the admission/audition process. Undergraduates seeking institutional need-based aid submit the CSS Profile by Jan 15 for Regular Decision; U.S.-eligible students also submit FAFSA. International students should complete CSS and Peabody requests, then compare the written package.
