学校定位 / Overview

林肯中心内的顶尖表演艺术学院。训练覆盖个别课、乐团、室内乐与当代作品，真正的价值是高密度同侪和纽约职业网络。打击乐席位远少于音乐部总体录取数。

The premier performing arts academy at Lincoln Center. Training covers individual lessons, orchestra, chamber music and contemporary works, and the real value is the high-density peer and New York professional network. The number of percussion seats is far less than the overall number of admissions in the music department.

试奏曲目 / Audition Repertoire

预筛 / Prescreen

  1. 键盘：J.S. 的一个乐章巴赫无伴奏小提琴奏鸣曲/帕蒂塔或大提琴组曲，用两个琴槌演奏。
    Keyboard: one movement from a J.S. Bach unaccompanied violin Sonata/Partita or cello Suite, performed with two mallets.
  2. 键盘：巴赫合唱曲 No. 114，Von Gott will ich nicht lassen，四个琴槌，无重复，四分音符 = 66，无卷音。
    Keyboard: Bach Chorale No. 114, Von Gott will ich nicht lassen, four mallets, no repeats, quarter note = 66, no rolls.
  3. 军鼓：四分音符长滚 = 80；普拉特，游行中的鼓队，指定段落；德勒克卢斯，12 首练习曲，第 1 号，指定段落。
    Snare Drum: long roll at quarter note = 80; Pratt, Drum Corps on Parade, specified passage; Delecluse, 12 Etudes, No. 1, specified passage.
  4. 定音鼓：四分音符长滚 = 80； Freise/Lepak 定音鼓 Method，练习曲第 11 号，两个鼓；只有音叉，没有音高规。

终试 / Final Audition

  1. 键盘：1个二槌独奏，1个四槌独奏；音阶和琶音；视奏。
    Keyboard: one two-mallet solo and one four-mallet solo; scales and arpeggios; sight-reading.
  2. 军鼓：一首音乐会练习曲（Cirone/Delecluse/Peters 或同等水平）；一首基本练习曲（Pratt/Wilcoxon/Tompkins 或同等曲目）；不同动态的基础、装饰品、卷；视奏。
    Snare Drum: one concert etude (Cirone/Delecluse/Peters or equivalent); one rudimental etude (Pratt/Wilcoxon/Tompkins or equivalent); rudiments, ornaments, rolls at different dynamics; sight-reading.
  3. 定音鼓：一首练习曲（Goodman/Firth/Delecluse/Woud/Hochrainer 或同等曲目）；准确调谐；以不同的力度滚动；视奏。

Daniel Druckman - Chair of Percussion; Associate Principal Percussion of the New York Philharmonic and an important New York new-music performer. Strong for orchestral playing, contemporary repertoire and professional section practice.

Markus Rhoten - 纽约爱乐乐团定音鼓首席；曾在欧洲管弦乐团担任定音鼓职务。管弦乐定音鼓声音、调音和试听摘录的中心资源。

International students may be asked for CSS Profile/parent income documents. Awards combine artistic merit and financial need; BM students are not automatically full scholarship.
