2027 audition dates will be published in September. Auditions are normally at Curtis in Philadelphia; Curtis cannot generally reschedule assigned dates.

远程政策
Remote option

TBD. Curtis says auditions may include recordings, interviews and in-person rounds, and that the final format decision will be made closer to the early-December deadline. Treat on-campus as the working assumption until confirmed.

IELTS

雅思学术类：学位安置一般每科6.5-7.0分。乐谱通常在艺术录取后于 7 月 15 日之前提交；没有家庭版本测试。

IELTS Academic: each band generally 6.5-7.0 for degree placement. Score is normally submitted after artistic admission by Jul 15; no home-version tests.

试奏曲目 / Audition Repertoire

预筛 / Prescreen

1. 两首键盘作品：J.S. 的一首乐章巴赫（两个或四个琴槌）和一首马林巴、电颤琴或木琴的当代作品。这两部作品均包括两槌演奏和四槌演奏。
   Two keyboard works: one movement of J.S. Bach (two or four mallets) and one contemporary work on marimba, vibraphone or xylophone. Across the two works, include both two-mallet and four-mallet playing.
2. 一首定音鼓练习曲或独奏，包括卷曲。
   One timpani etude or solo that includes rolls.
3. 一首古典军鼓独奏或练习曲。
   One classical snare drum solo or etude.
4. 每个视频必须是连续的、未经编辑的。预筛不需要管弦乐片段或基本独奏。
   Each video must be a continuous, unedited take. Prescreening does not require orchestral excerpts or a rudimental solo.

终试 / Final Audition

1. 巴赫乐章加上当代键盘作品；一个人必须使用两个琴槌，另外四个琴槌。可能会提供额外的电颤琴或木琴独奏。
   Bach movement plus a contemporary keyboard work; one must use two mallets and the other four mallets. An additional vibraphone or xylophone solo may be offered.
2. 两首军鼓作品：一首经典，一首初级。
   Two snare works: one classical and one rudimental.
3. 定音鼓练习曲一首；视奏、音高识别、定音鼓技巧和卷轴。终试入围者必须唱歌并确定音程。
   One timpani etude; sight-reading, pitch recognition, timpani technique and rolls. Finalists must sing and identify intervals.
4. 对于18岁或以下完成高中学业的申请者，在当前毕业级别表下，一份军鼓、一份键盘和一份定音鼓管弦乐选段是可选的。
   For applicants age 18 or younger completing high school, one snare, one keyboard and one timpani orchestral excerpt are optional under the current graduated-level table.
