Standard application/prescreen deadline is Dec 2, but applicants must first verify that Percussion appears on the Fall 2027 Current Openings list. The Fall 2027 inquiry form is live; the opening list and dates were not yet final on Jul 11, 2026.

Fall 2027 percussion date: TBA. Standard conservatory auditions are held at Colburn in downtown Los Angeles.

远程政策
Remote option

没有发布用于常规打击乐入场的标准远程选项。特别的空缺可能会宣布 Zoom 或面对面的选择，但 2027 年秋季不能假设这种例外。

NO standard remote option published for regular percussion admission. A special opening may announce Zoom or in-person choices, but that exception cannot be assumed for Fall 2027.

IELTS

雅思学术成绩总分 6.0，BM 单项不低于 5.5。科尔伯恩通常需要测试中心的结果；确认2027年政策。

IELTS Academic 6.0 overall with no band below 5.5 for BM. Colburn normally requires testing-center results; confirm the 2027 policy.

试奏曲目 / Audition Repertoire

预筛 / Prescreen

1. 小军鼓：选自 Delecluse、Douze Etudes、Keiskleriana Book 1/2 或 Test-Claire 中的一种。
   Snare Drum: one selection from Delecluse, Douze Etudes, Keiskleriana Book 1/2, or Test-Claire.
2. 马林巴琴：J.S. 的一个乐章巴赫独奏大提琴组曲、小提琴奏鸣曲/帕蒂塔或鲁特琴组曲；没有重复。
   Marimba: one movement from a J.S. Bach solo cello Suite, violin Sonata/Partita, or lute Suite; no repeats.
3. 木琴：申请人自选的一首标准管弦乐片段。
   Xylophone: one standard orchestral excerpt of the applicant's choice.
4. 定音鼓：卡特的一首作品，四首定音鼓八件；霍克赖纳；德勒克吕兹；或难度相当的作品。
   Timpani: one work from Carter, Eight Pieces for Four Timpani; Hochrainer; Delecluse; or a work of comparable difficulty.

终试 / Final Audition

1. 军鼓：普拉特或威尔科克森的一首基本独奏/练习曲；一首 Cirone、Peters 或 Delecluse 的音乐会练习曲；基础、装饰、多种动态和视奏的滚动。
   Snare Drum: one rudimental solo/etude by Pratt or Wilcoxon; one concert etude by Cirone, Peters or Delecluse; rudiments, ornaments, rolls at multiple dynamics and sight-reading.
2. 键盘：独奏会级两槌独奏一首，四槌马林巴独奏一首；音阶、琶音和视奏。
   Keyboard: one recital-level two-mallet solo and one four-mallet marimba solo; scales, arpeggios and sight-reading.
3. 定音鼓：Goodman、Firth、Delecluse、Hochrainer 或同等作品的一首练习曲；准确的调音和视奏。
   Timpani: one etude by Goodman, Firth, Delecluse, Hochrainer or equivalent; accurate tuning and sight-reading.
