A small conservatory in the Cleveland Orchestra ecosystem. The program separates percussion and timpani emphasis in later undergraduate years while retaining training in both.

终试 Final audition: 本科定音鼓和打击乐专业需要参加克利夫兰的现场试奏。2027 年秋季入学的具体日期待定；最近的试奏安排在二三月期间的周日进行。
Undergraduate timpani and percussion require an in-person audition in Cleveland. Fall 2027 dates are TBA; recent auditions ran on February/March Sundays.
远程政策 Remote option: 根据现行 CIM 政策，常规本科打击乐路径不支持远程申请；官方公布的系部名单要求参加克利夫兰的现场试奏。
NO for the regular undergraduate percussion route under the current CIM policy; the published department list requires an in-person Cleveland audition.

终试 / Final Audition

打击乐：两组对比鲜明的军鼓独奏，其中一组为技巧练习；两组对比鲜明的键盘独奏，其中一组使用两支鼓槌，另一组使用四支鼓槌。
Percussion: two contrasting snare solos, one rudimental; two contrasting keyboard solos, one with two mallets and one with four mallets.
定音鼓：滚奏/单音击打，一首三鼓或四鼓练习/独奏，音程识别，调音及标准的古典定音鼓部分。
Timpani: rolls/single strokes, one three- or four-drum etude/solo, interval recognition, tuning and a standard Classical timpani part.
管弦乐选段对于本科申请人可选；任何环节可能会要求视奏。
Orchestral excerpts are optional for undergraduate applicants; sight-reading may be requested in any segment.
